Ask Australia Post

by Raunchy Republic Manager on March 7, 2014

If you have ordered online from Raunchy Republic or any online store for that matter can believe that a reasonable amount of time has passed for an expected delivery date then perhaps you need to visit your nearest post office. It is not uncommon for packages to remain at the post office waiting for collection without the receiver being notified that a package is there. Ideally the post office will leave a reminder card in your letterbox telling you that there is a package waiting to be picked up however this is not always the case. In the past 12 months we have often found that no reminder card has been left in the receiver’s letterbox.

Since we opened the Raunchy Republic online sex shop in 2007, we haven’t had a single order go missing. Some deliveries get held up in the post system but ultimately all packages have arrived. That said, we understand that it is frustrating when you are not told that you have a package waiting. Unfortunately, this is not something we can do anything about as it is entirely in Australia Post’s hands.

Australia Post has been busy rearranging their business to better suit the online retail boom so we would expect things to improve going forward. In the meantime, don’t be afraid to visit your nearest post office and ask if you believe in order should have arrived. Remember, your orders from Raunchy Republic will be packed in a way so that nobody handling it will have any idea what is inside. Oh and don’t forget to take some photo ID!
